"I could go spy at Caritas again," said Marcie hopefully.
Lilah cast a glance about two feet away from where Marcie was actually sitting. "We have visible spies for that kind of work." She shuffled her papers. "I need eyes inside the Hyperion. Are you ready for that?"
"I guess." Marcie sighed. She liked working here. It paid well, and people called her 'Agent Ross', and those who had graduated with her could even see her.
But one day, she promised herself, she would sing for the Host.
